👉 What do you truly want?

👉 What are you grateful for?

👉 How can you lead a life of value?

It's easy to get caught up in the minutiae of our day-to-day lives. In zooming around, we can get tunnel vision as we focus on our next task. By completing to-do lists doesn't give us deep fulfilment. It can distract us from the future we truly want for ourselves.

With the acceleration in our environment, it feels like we are being swept up by waves of change and uncertainty. Whether it's AI, climate change or geopolitics, we can feel overwhelmed.

In moments like this, you want to go even faster.

So what can we do about it?

Create space for Rest and Reset:

🌟 If possible, book a short trip or activity. I think there is great value in a change of our environment to give us new perspective. Research also shows that having something to look forward to in our diary helps to raise our dopamine levels as a "feel-good" neurotransmitter.

🌟 Spend time in nature. The simple act of walking in nature is a mood enhancer and you don't have to be doing anything else. Nature has a positive impact on our emotional and physical well-being. Need to meet someone for a chat? Why not take a walk in the park and talk:)

🌟 Write a journal. Writing helps to calm us down and process our emotions. It also allows us to "dump" whatever thoughts are swirling around in our mind onto the page. Often our worries are simply thoughts in our minds and once you see it on paper, it allows you to reframe your worry. I see it as freeing up brain space to allow more productive thoughts to seep in 😊

So here a special message to all you leaders: please take a Rest and a Reset today.

So that you can come back stronger! 💪
