Top Tip If You Are Thinking of Leaving Your Job!

If you want to are planning to leave your job – STOP! Read this one piece of advice I wish I knew earlier.

About 5 years ago I took the jump and quit my job. I wanted more flexibility and precious time with my children.

I know it sounds cliché, but leaving my corporate job was about finding work-life balance.

Yes it was a scary leap of faith, but I was fortunate to have supportive ex-bosses and colleagues who gave me opportunities for my business.

? Top tip, don’t burn your bridges when you leave, you never know when you might need your ex-colleague’s help. Cultivate networks at your work place and do a proper hand-over.

? Looking back, I’m glad I pushed through the fear and went for my dreams. Every day I am grateful for doing a job that I love whilst having time to be there for my kids growing up. Time you just don’t ever get back.

So here I am, supporting busy leaders to do the same – achieve work-life balance by pausing. And every day is a joy.

But as with all of us, there is more to me than being a facilitator and coach:)

Here are some fun facts about me:

? I am an Indian classical dancer – a dance form called Kathak. I was devastated to hear the demise of the true Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj a few weeks ago. But I’m truly blessed to have met him once in my life.

?️ I’m one of those who doesn’t like shopping! I’m the kind who will make a beeline for what I need and then leave the shop immediately – husband in tow:)

? I have a diving licence and am looking forward to more dive trips in the Philippines once there is easier international travel.
